National Honor society application requirements

1. You must bring two letters of recommendations. The first should reflect your character and it may not be from a family member or Genesee Academy faculty. The second is a community service letter that may not be written by a family member as well.

2. Write a one page, typed essay (250 word minimum, 12 font, single spaced) answering the following questions:

•  As a member of a student organization that is based upon character and service to our community, how will you enhance the service activities  of   the National Junior Honor Society?
•  Describe what your perceptions are of a strong character. Include description of how your character is portrayed in a positive light.

 3. Add the enclosed cover sheet to the front of your application.

Eligibility is determined by  your cumulative grade point average which must meet or exceed our chapter's standard for Scholarship currently set at 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
