Due to the continuing surge of covid cases and receiving more calls about parents/students having covid, the board has decided to continue online learning next week, i.e. the week of January 10, according to the following plan:
1- The online learning will continue next week starting Monday January 10. The parents/students will continue using the same google meet link for meeting online. The elementary AQI/PE/Art teachers will continue using the same homeroom link (i.e. one link) to make it easy for the parents. The middle and high school teachers will continue using the same individual subject links from this week.
2-The parents/students will come to school to pick up the school materials tomorrow Friday January 7 between 10:00 am-3:30 pm. If you are quarantine at home and cannot send someone else to pick up the materials, you can come to the school parking lot and call the office, and we will bring the materials to your car.
3- Schedule:
a) Elementary: The online learning will continue being half day in the morning, i.e. from 8:30 am-12:08 pm (Friday schedule ends at 12:00 pm). A new schedule for next week will be emailed by homeroom teachers to the parents tomorrow.
b) Middle and high school: The online learning will continue following the regular schedule (including lunch and prayer). In order to give some time to students to transition to the next class, the teachers will finish their classes 5 minutes earlier than the regular schedule.
4- If your child’s teacher is sick and not able to teach during that day/period, they will email you to let you know that he/she will not be able to teach online during that day/period, and they will give you/your child some instructions as to what the students need to work on during that time.
5- If your child is sick and not able to attend online classes, please call the office to let us know (the parents should call and not the student).
6- The parents and the students will continue adhering to the online learning etiquettes, rules, and policy that was sent on Tuesday.
If you have any questions or need help, please, let us know. We continue praying for the safety of everyone. Jazakum Allah Khairan for your continuous patience.
