Tomorrow Friday September 17 will be the first Friday when the 4th-12th grade students will pray with the community members during the school day. Therefore, we need the cooperation of parents and students to make this Friday prayer a safe one. The protocol will be as follows:
-4th-8th Grade Students: 4th through 8th grade students will be praying in the small gym (not in the masjid). So, please, make sure that your child has his/her prayer rug.
After prayer, the 4th and 5th grade students will be escorted by their homeroom teachers back to their classroom to get ready for dismissal as usual.
6th-8th grade students that ride the bus will go straight to the main gym for dismissal followed by the pick-up students who will also go to the main gym for dismissal as usual.
Parents, please, do not take your child from the gym or ask your child to come to the masjid for dismissal. Your child will be dismissed as usual from the main gym.
-High school students: HS students will pray in the masjid with the community members. After prayer, the bus students will go straight to the main gym for dismissal. The pick up students can go with their parents if their parents are present in the masjid; otherwise, they have to go to the main gym and wait for their parents. There will be NO high school students dismissal from the high school entrance on Fridays only.
Note: If your child rides the bus but you want to pick him/her up after Friday prayer, please, call the office by 1:30 pm to make sure that he/she does not ride the bus.
