First, I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable spring break! Insha Allah.
Second, Insha Allah, after we come back from Spring Break (Monday April 4th), wearing a mask at Genesee Academy will be optional for staff and students. We still require the students to sanitize their hands as they enter the school in the morning as usual using the hand-sanitizer dispensers at school. MTA (the bus company that we use to transport students to and from school) still requires students to wear mask on their buses. In addition, the school will still follow the guidelines set by CDC and Michigan department of Health (the updated guidelines are attached). Also, we need the parents’ cooperation in keeping Genesee Academy safe for everyone by not sending your child to school if he/she is sick. As always, if you are in doubt, you can call the school for help.
Third, as the blessed month, Ramadan, is approaching us soon, we ask Allah to help all of us to fast and worship Him the way that He deserves to be worshiped and to make us among those who will be granted His forgiveness. Please, remember that during Ramadan, the school starts at 9:30 am for students while the dismissal will stay the same. Jazakum Allah Khairan.
