Assalamu Alaikum Dear Parents,
-Virtual Curriculum Night: Jazakum Allah Khairan to those parents who attended the curriculum night this past Friday. If you have any questions pertaining to your child, please, contact your child's teachers.
-Arrival/Dismissal: I would like to thank all parents for their cooperation with the arrival/dismissal protocol. Alhamdulillah, the process is going well and smoothly. However, we observed that sometimes some parents are driving fast on the school premises because they are in a hurry. This jeopardizes the safety of the children. Parents, please, make sure to drive slowly on the school premises for the safety of your children.
-NMSQT Test: Insha Allah, the 11th grade students will be having the NMSQT at Genesee Academy on Wednesday October 13. This test will qualify the students to participate in the NMS (National Merit Scholarship). For more information about the NMS, please, click on the link below:

Also, on that date the SAT testing will be offered at GA for those 12th grade students who are interested in re-taking the SAT.
-Friday Prayer: Insha Allah, next Friday September 17 will be the first Friday prayer for the students to pray with the community. Due to safety reasons, the 4th-8th grade students will be praying in the small gym while the high school students will be praying in the masjid.
Also, after the prayer, we ask the parents to pick up their children as usual from the main gym (outside door).
-Water Bottles/Prayer Mats: This is a reminder to the parents to send water bottles with your child since the water fountains are closed. Also, please, send a prayer mat with your child for 3rd-12th grade students.
