-Re-Accreditation (December 6 & 7): Every five years Genesee Academy goes through a re-accreditation process by Cognia (previously AdvancEd-the accrediting organization). During the process a committee from Cognia interviews board members, administration, teachers, some parents and students. Also, the committee inspects the required documents which show that Genesee Academy meets the standards and adheres to its mission statement.
-Kg-5th Grade Writer’s Celebration: Insha Allah, the first Writer’s Celebration for this year is going to be virtual on Tuesday December 14 according to the attached schedule. The parents are invited to attend the Writer’s Celebration by clicking the grades that are hyperlinked with the google meets.
-Winter Break: Insha Allah, the winter break will be from Thursday December 23 to Sunday January 2.
-No School: There will be NO school on Monday January 17.
-MS/HS Mid-Term Exams: The middle school mid-term exams will be from Tuesday January 18-Friday January 21, and the high school mid-term exams will be from Wednesday January 19-Friday January 21.
-End of 2nd Quarter: Friday January 21 is the end of the 2nd quarter, and the students will have a half day school, i.e. the students' dismissal is at 12:00 pm.
