-Sadaqah Jariah Project/Clothes Drive: Alhamdulillah, we are on our way to build the third well, Insha Allah. May Allah reward everyone who donated towards this noble cause. Please, continue your support towards this project. This Wednesday is the last day to donate.
Also, this is a reminder about the clothes drive. The HS student council will donate the collected clothes to the needy people in the area.
-Re-Enrollment 2022-2023: Insha Allah, the student re-enrollment will start on Monday April 18- Friday May 6th. A $ 75 fee will be collected after May 6th. A more detailed email will be sent soon.
M-Step State Testing (3rd -8th grades-online): M-Step testing will continue for the next few weeks. The 3rd-8th will be tested on English and Math. In addition, the 5th, 8th, and 11th will be tested on Social Studies and Science.
-Open House: GA will be holding an open house on the following Fridays: May 20, June 3. The open house will be from 10:00 am-1:00 pm and by appointment. The open house is for the prospective parents who are interested in registering their kids at GA. Please, spread the word.
-Ramadan/Eid Break: Insha Allah, the Ramadan/Eid break will be from Thursday April 28 – Tuesday May 3rd. The school will resume with a regular schedule, i.e. the school starts at 8:30 am for students on Wednesday May 4th.
-Quran Competition/Award Ceremonies: Insha Allah, the Quran Competition schedule will be as follows:
1) 11th & 12th grades: Tuesday April 26.
2) The rest of the grades: Week of May 9th. The schedule will be emailed soon.
-The Award Ceremonies:
1) 4th thru 12th grades: Saturday May 14 at 4:30 pm in the Masjid. A Community dinner will follow the Award Ceremony.
2) Kg-3rd grades: Friday May 20 at 12:00 pm in the banquet hall.
-High School Graduation: Insha Allah, the high school graduation (by invitation) will be in the banquet hall on Thursday May 19th at 6:00 pm.
-MS/HS Final Exams: The middle school final exams will be from Monday June 6-Thursday June 9. The high school final exams will be from Tuesday June 7-Tursday June 9.
-Last Day of School (1/2 day): The last day of school will be Friday June 10, and it will be a half day, i.e. the dismissal will be at 12:00 pm.
