-CDC Covid Guidelines: This is a reminder about the CDC covid guidelines (attached). Also, this is a reminder that if your child is sick, please keep him/her at home. Unfortunately, we had recently some cases when the child was sent to the school while the parents knew that their child was sick. With the school recent decision to drop the mask requirement, we need to care for each other to make sure that the school environment is safe for everyone. -Sadaqah Jariah Project: Alhamdulillah, the response to the sadaqah jariah project was amazing for the first week. Alhamdulillah, our community is known for their generosity. Our goal is to collect at least $ 3,000 to build a well in Africa. Based on the response in the first week, I think we can target to build even two wells instead of one. Please, continue your support towards this project.
Also, this is a reminder about the clothes drive that the HS student council initiated for the month of the Raman. The collected clothes will be donated to the needy people in the area.
-SAT/PSAT Testing (paper and pencil test):
-SAT& Workkeys (11th grade) tests will be at Genesee Academy on Wednesday April 13 and Thursday April 14.
-PSAT8/9 (8th & 9th grades) & PSAT10 (10th grade) will be on Wednesday April 13.
M-Step State Testing (3rd -8th grades-online): M-Step testing will start on the week of April 11th.
-No School: There will be NO school for staff and students on Friday April 15.
-Ramadan/Eid Break: Insha Allah, the Ramadan/Eid break will be from Thursday April 28 – Tuesday May 3rd. The school will resume with a regular schedule, i.e. the school starts at 8:30 am for students, on Wednesday May 4th.
-High School Graduation: Insha Allah, the high school graduation (by invitation) will be in the banquet hall on Friday May 20th at 6:00 pm.
