-Parent-Teacher Conference: Insha Allah, our first parent-teacher conference is going to be next Friday November 12. The conference will be virtual like last year from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm. The links to schedule meetings with your child's teachers will be emailed this coming week.

-Board Representative/Student Councils/NHS/NJHS/Clubs: Insha Allah, we are in the process of starting the board representative from the high school students, the student council for middle and high school, NHS (National Honor Society) for 10th-12th grades, NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) for 6th-9th grades, and clubs for the middle school.
-NO School: There will be NO school for staff and students on Thursday November 25 and Friday November 26.
-Re-Accreditation (December 6 & 7): Every five years Genesee Academy goes through a re-accreditation process by Cognia (previously AdvancEd-the accrediting organization). During the process a committee from Cognia interviews board members, administration, teachers, some parents and students. Also, the committee inspects the required documents which show that Genesee Academy meets the standards and adheres to its mission statement. We will be surveying parents, staff, and students.
